New experiences

We got a new washer from Kingsbury's and its wonderful. KyLeigh ( being the mature teen she is) decided that she wants to do her own laundry. So today she washed her dirty clothes and her bed spread sheets and pillow case plus some of her sisters clothes. The only part that she didn't like was putting the clothes in her closet and drawers. KyLeigh also got a kitten. I told her that if she went on the trek that afterward we would get her a kitten. A friend of ours ( Jolene Fernley) had two cats that had kittens 10 total i think. So ky went out to her house a couple times before finally deciding on a really cute black and white female. The first day her name was Patches. By the second day she had changed her mind (no surprise there lol) So her name is now Minnie ( like the mouse ky LOVES Mickey and Minnie even though she is a soon to be freshman) She is 3 months old and is really active. Everyone loves her (except for our older cat Jazzmine who is 18 ) even kelsey who isn't really a cat person. Some days Ky loves the cat others she is frustrated and is busy putting band-aids on her cat scratches. At the end of the day she is happy though. Minnie can't sleep on ky's bed because instead of sleeping she likes to attack ky's legs when she moves so she has to sleep in her carrier for awhile but eventually will probably sleep with ky.
